My portrait drawings reflect the unique personality and character within each individual person I am drawing. Careful consideration to detail is what I am known for. True likeness is what I strive for, but please remember this is a work of art, not a print of a photograph. The beauty of art is how it can bring unique nuances to be appreciated. Graphite gives a fabulously soft gray portrait. Full color portraits are done in colored pencil, acrylic, or pastels.

Prices below reflect one model, additional models in the work will be an additional price. Each additional subject (person or pet) within the same composition is invoiced at 10% less than the first person. Pet portraits are invoiced at the same rate. Thank you.

Larger sizes are possible, such as, 18" x 24", 20" x 24", etc. so please inquire as to what
size you desire and its commission price for a larger work of art.
Portraits in full color in a larger size begin at $800, depending on the size desired.
Pet portraits are the same price as their wonderful owners
I work from clear photographs of your choosing for the portraits.
If the portrait will be commissioned in color, a meeting of the model is suggested to identify correct coloring of the eyes, skin and hair; but not mandatory. Good photos and conversation can assist me with that.
Suggestions: School photos work well for children because they are clear. Photos that are clear, not distant shots of the person you want drawn and a look that really appeals to you. This gives me the opportunity to work in my studio to complete a quality portrait for you.
To book the commission, please provide the photos, along with a conversation with me to make sure you and I fully understand what is desired. A 25% down payment is required before I begin. Payment in full due upon completion of the work. Thank you.
